The 2016 Bass Guitar Calendar

About the Bass Guitar Calendar

For many years, as each holiday season approached I once again began my search for a banjo wall calendar. Almost always, my search came up empty and I had to settle for one of the many guitar calendars that were available. Every year, I thought, wouldn't it be nice if there was an annual calendar for all of us banjo lovers. For 2014, I decided to make that happen.

The First Editon of The Banjo Calendar featured 12 unique and beautiful banjos made by 12 of the top banjo makers from around the world. In its first year, sales far surpassed expectations, shipping to 45 states, 6 Canadian provinces and 12 countries around the world including Australia and Japan.

Building on the success of the first Banjo Calendar, for 2015 we will not only be producing a 2nd edition of the Banjo calendar, but also the first ever editions of both the Acoustic Guitar Calendar and the Bass Guitar Calendar. They will be in the same format - featuring 12 beautiful hand crafted instruments made by some of the most talented luthiers in the world.

My name is Rob Lardie and I am a professional graphic designer and web developer with almost 20 years experience and yes, I am also a banjo player and guitar enthusiast.

For the last 6 months, my son Ben (a bass player and designer) and I have been working closely with some of the world's top banjo, guitar and bass makers to create 3 full color 12 x 12 high quality wall calendars that feature some of the world's most stunning instruments. Each calendar also highlights key dates that are of interest to their specific subject, including birthdays, awards and milestones.

We are very excited to bring you these calendars. Hopefully we will be able to produce them for years to come.

And finally, a really big thank you to all of the makers and their representatives who contributed and helped to make these calendars a reality. It wouldn't have been possible without you.

I hope you order the calendars and you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed creating them.
